Hip-hop reigned supreme at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. on Saturday. This year’s star-studded bill featured performances from J. Cole, Big Sean, Diggy Simmons, B.o.B, Wiz Khalifa, K’naan, and Pitbull, who closed the show. Justin Bieber introduced his artist Carly Rae Jepsen and the Barbz were in the house for Nicki Minaj’s set.

During a backstage interview, J. Cole shared his love for fellow Wango performer Maroon 5. “I’m a big fan of their first album [Songs About Jane],” said the Roc Nation rapper, who is currently on tour with Drake. “They’re incredible, period, but their first album is a good memory in my life.”

“Saturday Night Live” celebrated its 100th digital short with a star-studded tribute. Justin Bieber joined the party as the fellas took a trip down memory lane. Justin Timberlake reprised his “Dick in a Box” character alongside Andy Samberg while reflecting on some of the more memorable shorts starring Lady Gaga, Natalie Portman, and Michael Bolton. Usher showed up to acknowledge the madness and even Shy Ronnie busted some rhymes.

In addition to Brandy, Sean Garrett has been in the studio working on new music for megastars including Dr. Dre, Kelly Rowland, and Justin Bieber. During his interview with Rap-Up TV, he shared his respect for Dre and his contributions to Detox.

“He got a lot of stuff. You just be hoping and praying that you make the album,” said Garrett. “We did a lot of great work, so I’m pretty sure that hopefully I’ll at least have one on there.”

The hitmaker behind Beyoncé’s “Diva” and Chris Brown’s “Run It!” is currently in the studio with Kelly Rowland working on her next album. “Her swag is dope and I’m just so happy to see her get her shot,” he said. “I’ma do what I can to make sure Kelly right.”

He is also cooking up some material for Justin Bieber’s upcoming album Believe. “I love what Justin’s doing. He’s taking control of his career,” explained Sean. “I was blown away by just how talented he is.”

Justin Bieber was drippin’ in swagu during the first live performance of “Boyfriend” on the season finale of “The Voice.” Dressed in a studded shirt with metallic gold high-tops, the 18-year-old heartthrob walked down a corridor of lights before busting some rhymes and moves alongside his troupe of dancers. Floyd Mayweather Jr. celebrated his win over Cotto at Saturday’s fight with some hip-hop heavyweights and a pop megastar. The undefeated champ took his victory lap in Las Vegas with 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, and Justin Bieber, who walked him to the ring and held his title belts.

The “Boyfriend” singer spoke highly of his friend Floyd in a recent interview. “He’s the best boxer in the world,” he told V magazine. “When everyone else just chills and doesn’t work out because they are not fighting, he’s in there punching the bags because he wants to be the best. He wants to be better than Muhammad Ali, and that’s what he’s striving to be.”

When he’s not on stage, the Biebs enjoys boxing. “Me and my friends box all the time,” he said. “My dad is a fighter so he taught me some stuff growing up, and he’s a great fighter, so I’m a pretty good boxer.”

Floyd Mayweather Jr. made his grand entrance into the ring at Saturday’s super welterweight title fight flanked by 50 Cent and Justin Bieber. The pop star made a surprise appearance alongside the Money Team at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, sporting Floyd’s title belts on his shoulders as 2 Chainz’ “Riot” played.
