Ciara means war. During her trip to Shanghai, China, the R&B singer put on her armor and prepared for a fierce photo op, donning an original Chinese soldier armor uniform and sword.

“This piece is heavy!! How did they fight in this? You have to be super human!” tweeted CiCi, who is visiting the country for a private show for Mercedes-Benz AMG and Formula 1 in celebration of the Chinese Grand Prix.

Ciara flaunted her figure in a black cleavage-bearing gown at the grand opening of Valentino’s flagship store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on Tuesday night. The stunning songstress posed with the brand’s creative directors and caught up with her friend Kim Kardashian.

CiCi carried only one item in her clear Valentino clutch. “All I need is lip gloss in my clear Valentino bag,” she tweeted. “But I’ll be running back to the car if I need anything else!”

L.A. Reid recently teased Ciara’s new album, which will be released on Epic Records. “@ciara fans you will not be disappointed,” he wrote.

Ciara shows her wild side in the explicit trailer for That’s My Boy, a comedy starring Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg. The singer plays the fun-loving Brie who works at a bar, where she meets Sandler’s character. Donny (Sandler) is a man who raised his son (Samberg) while he was a teenager and still hasn’t quite matured. When his accountant tells him he owes $43,000 in back taxes, Donny tries to reconnect with his wealthy son, but ends up turning his life into hell.

The R-rated film, which opens in theaters on June 15, also stars Leighton Meester, James Caan, and Vanilla Ice.

Ciara enjoyed the warm weather during an outing in Beverly Hills on Wednesday. The newly blonde singer showed off her sexy legs in cutoff shorts, a white tank top, and gladiator sandals while shopping at Barneys New York.

Earlier this month, CiCi lost her grandfather to cancer. “The last thing me and my grandpa said to each other was I LOVE YOU. I feel good knowing that,” she told her fans. “RIP Eddie Lee Head, I love you soooo much, and you will forever be in my heart. You were THE BEST GRANDPA EVER!”

She is taking her time recording her Epic Records debut. “It’s just really about the vibe, and I’ll just tell you that it’s a good vibe going,” she said during an interview on “Sway in the Morning.” “It’s really important for me to take my time with this record and it’s important for the whole team. It’s really, really good energy.”

A blonde Ciara roared into RedZone Entertainment’s Pre-Grammy Party in West Hollywood last night. The R&B siren, who stars in the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy That’s My Boy, sported two-toned hair and a lion-print dress as she caught up with hitmaker Tricky Stewart at Greystone Manor Supperclub. Birthday girl Kelly Rowland, who turns 31 today, and Christina Milian were also among those celebrating the kickoff to Grammy weekend.

While in Indianapolis for the Super Bowl, Ciara stopped by SiriusXM’s “Sway in the Morning” show and spoke about her fifth album and first since reuniting with L.A. Reid at Epic Records.

The “Ride” singer, who stars in the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy That’s My Boy, stressed the importance of not rushing to release the follow-up to 2010’s Basic Instinct. “It’s not even so much about a number count,” she told Sway Calloway. “It’s just really about the vibe, and I’ll just tell you that it’s a good vibe going. It’s really important for me to take my time with this record and it’s important for the whole team. It’s really, really good energy.”

She’s looking at the bigger picture when approaching the new material. “I really want to build my empire,” she explained. “I want a strong empire. I want it to be really solid and it’s about building a brand, so I look at things completely different than I would have on my first album.”

This time around, she has a hand in the production. “I co-produced something so far on one of my records and it’s fun because I’m literally a part of making the music. It’s just really, really, really fun.”

Ciara brought the party to the football field for Super Bowl Media Day. During her co-hosting gig for “The Insider,” the 26-year-old singer had a blast interviewing the players from the New England Patriots and New York Giants, and even got them to participate in some karaoke in honor of halftime performer Madonna.

CiCi, who appears in the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy That’s My Boy, sang along to “Like a Virgin” with the Giants’ Victor Cruz and Patriots’ Chad Jackson, and vogued to the Material Girl’s classic “Vogue.”
