Chris Brown Makes a Splash at Debut Art Show

Chris Brown went hard in the paint at his debut art show. Following the launch of his Dum English collectibles toy line, the “Turn Up the Music” singer displayed his street art for the first time at a VIP event at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Breezy and contemporary pop artist Ron English, who designed Chris’ F.A.M.E. album cover, painted a life-size Dum English astronaut sculpture in front of guests including Bow Wow.

“My first art show!” tweeted Chris, who grabbed a 5 a.m. snack at the Sprinkles cupcakes vending machine.

Proceeds from the Dum English toy line will benefit Chris’ Symphonic Love youth foundation. If successful, it will expand into other areas including sneakers.

Lil Wayne Coaches Youth Basketball Game

Lil Wayne and Bow Wow

Lil Wayne took to the court to mentor seventh and eighth grade students at the Celebrity Court of Dreams charity game at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami over the weekend. The Young Money chief coached the YMCMB All Stars as they faced off against the South Beach AllStars amateur athletic union team.

Halfway through the game, he switched sides and joined the kids on their team. Bow Wow even showed up and helped lead the South Beach All Stars to a one-point win over YMCMB.

“Whatever dream you have, don’t quit,” Coach Carter told his young fans. “Don’t let anyone try and stop you.”

Bow Wow Announces ‘Underrated’ Tour

He has announced the first eight dates for the U.S. trek, which will play intimate venues beginning June 1 in Dallas before traveling to Anaheim, San Francisco, and Syracuse.
